Rising Stars Special Needs Centre strives to be a place where students, parents and staff experience a love of God and Christian Faith in action. HISTORY
The School was founded byMs Dahnae' Bethell in 2012, as she realized that there were no English Medium schools in the area for her son Liam who needed to start Grade R at the time. With more than 20 yrs teaching experience she decided to teach Liam by doing Home Schooling. Then a friend at Church asked if she could teach their son and the School blossomed from there with the mission to help children in the community.After 4 years of helping children to learn the value of learning, we opened a Special Needs Centre, for Neurodivergent children. Our love for these special souls grew tremendously, we have assisted many children in finding who they are in this world, learning independent living skills, emotional & behavioural skills needed to grown into an adult.Now in 2026, we are so excited to be opening a Hostel for special children in our community. By giving, loving and inspiring them to grow into their potential.
